Are they worth it?
In my opinion yes! We used to have the three wheelie bins on our patio area and they stood out like a sore thumb! I personally laid our patio and decking area last year so we could enjoy the outdoors more. Unfortunately the three wheelie bins just made the patio look untidy, and a little scruffy to be honest! Lets face it the colours are not exactly appealing are they? Now they are tucked away in a wooden store, which is painted the same colour as the adjacent shed.
